A Davenport man was arrested for driving without a license after being stopped for an improper tag.
A deputy stopped 58-year-old Juvenil Rodriguez Caroso in a white Ford F-150 at West North Boulevard and Citizens Boulevard in Leesburg at 6:10 a.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle’s tag was not visible, which the deputy explained to Rodriguez Cardoso. There was also a female passenger in the vehicle who helped translate for the deputy when he asked for Rodriguez Cardoso’s license, registration and insurance. However, he had never been issued a license in the United States and held no license from any country, the report said.
A record check through dispatch confirmed this to be true. It also revealed he had been stopped for the same offense in 2015, the report said…
