Disorganized wave in the Atlantic as Gabrielle expected to become hurricane

ORLANDO, Fla. – As of 8 a.m. Saturday, the National Hurricane Center is monitoring a disorganized tropical wave over the eastern Atlantic and giving it a low chance of development.

Slow organization is possible in the coming days as the system tracks west-northwest across the central Atlantic. Development odds are 0% over the next 48 hours and 20% over the next seven days.
