Dundee Woman, a Regular House Cleaner, Accused of Stealing and Pawning Valuables Valued Between $10,000 and $20,000
A woman who frequently cleaned a residence on Camp Mack Road near Lake Wales has been arrested and charged in connection with the theft of a firearm and jewelry that occurred between August 15th and September 20th.
Glenda Denice Layne, 57, of Dundee, was arrested on September 25th after a detective with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) connected her to the missing items.
The two victims, who reside in the home, told authorities that one or both of them are almost always at the residence, and there was no sign of forced entry. They identified Layne as the only other person who had been inside the home recently, as she often visited to clean…
