VIDEO: Orange County deputies rescue child with autism from retention pond

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two Orange County sheriff’s deputies on Saturday rescued a child with autism from a deep retention pond.

Video released Monday by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office shows Cpl. Andrew Pupo and Deputy Noel De Jesus jumping into the pond to pull the boy to safety.

The child was reunited with his parents and taken to a hospital for evaluation…
