ORLANDO, Fla. — It has been 10 days since the federal government shut down, and essential federal workers still need to go to work, even though they aren’t getting paid.
For TSA workers, Friday is payday. The pay period included some work before the shutdown, so they did get some money, but this is the last paycheck until the government shutdown comes to a close. And with no resolution in sight for Congress, reality just hit for some workers.
