DAVENPORT, Fla. (WFLA) — A customer at a Polk County McDonald’s was shot during a dispute over being denied service late at night.
At around 3 a.m. on Oct. 12, Peter Story, 19, and Nicholas Jones, 18, were denied service at a McDonald’s in Davenport due to the restaurant being too busy, according to Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrest reports.

The pair argued with the drive-thru employee, who was identified as Yoan Soto, 21, and allegedly told him they would “beat his a**” and wait for him in the parking lot. They walked into the lobby of the restaurant and continued the argument.
The store manager tried to de-escalate the situation and told Story and Jones to leave the store, but the arrest report said they refused. She told deputies she heard the men reference firearms, mentioning a “30 clip” and “switches.”…
