An 81-year-old man, Miguel Guzman, tragically lost his life yesterday in a shed fire sparked by a propane tank explosion in Kissimmee, Osceola County. The incident happened at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Orange Vista Blvd. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office and fire rescue teams responded to the emergency.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, video footage showed Guzman with a drill near the propane tank moments before the explosion. “As he attempted to drill a hole into the tank, it exploded and Guzman was thrown into the shed,” deputies said, as ClickOrlando reported. The shed where the victim was found immediately became engulfed in flames following the explosion.
