Estranged Wife of Suspended Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez Arrested on New Charges in St. Cloud

Robin Severance Lopez, the estranged wife of the suspended Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez, has found herself under arrest yet again. This time, the charge is connected to allegedly providing false information on a bail application, according to ClickOrlando. Lopez, who was initially arrested in June for her alleged involvement in a multimillion-dollar illegal gambling operation, was re-arrested after being released on bond in July.

Following the arrest after 3 p.m. at her St. Cloud home, Lopez is now set to appear before a judge, as her attorney prepares to possibly see her transferred to the Lake County Jail. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office executed the latest arrest warrant on behalf of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. It was reported by WESH that Michelle Yard, Lopez’s attorney, had “no idea that deputies would be arriving to her house or that statewide was pursuing any additional charge.”

The backstory to this arrest includes Lopez’s estranged husband, Marcos Lopez, who pleaded not guilty to racketeering charges following his own arrest and ensuing suspension from his position as sheriff by Gov. Ron DeSantis.
