Five individuals connected to the “South American Theft Group,” a Colombian theft ring operating in Central Florida, were arrested for a series of burglaries targeting Asian business owners. Their activities came abruptly to an end on Monday when an OCSO drone captured footage of two suspects breaking into an Orange County home. The surveillance operation allowed deputies not only to observe the burglary but to coordinate a subsequent takedown in Osceola County, leading to the arrest of all five suspects.
