‘Pop’ In The Kitchen: Florida Twins Critical After Finding Gun Stashed Under Couch Cushion

Two parents are behind bars facing felony charges after their 4-year-old twin boys were shot with a handgun they reportedly found tucked under a cushion in the family living room.

The incident unfolded during the early morning hours of Saturday, Nov. 8. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, 39-year-old Keishara B. Goodrum was in the kitchen making breakfast when the morning quiet was broken by a loud “pop.” Goodrum, who told investigators she had been drinking the night before, rushed to the living room to find one of the children bleeding near the arm.
