WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Polk County Sheriff’s deputies rushed to a store on Cypress Gardens Road Tuesday night, responding to what came in as a robbery in progress.
The call, received around 7:43 p.m. on November 25, drew a rapid response from law enforcement. However, once deputies arrived on the scene, they quickly realized the situation was not what it appeared to be.
