A 15-year-old boy is facing adult charges of second-degree murder following the deadly shooting of a teenager riding a bicycle in a neighborhood near Pine Hills last September.
According to court filings from State Attorney Monique H. Worrell, Tommy Lagree Jr. has been charged with second-degree murder with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a minor. He is currently being held in the Orange County Jail.
The investigation began the evening of Sept. 26. Around 6 p.m., Orange County deputies responded to a call at Keith Place, where they discovered 17-year-old Jahriel Benjamin Huertas lying in the road, collapsed on top of his bicycle.
