ORLANDO, Fla. – As shoppers take advantage of discounts found during Cyber Monday, Amazon is expecting to handle nearly double its average number of orders.
At the Amazon Same-Day Delivery facility in Orlando, workers were busy processing an expected 90,000 packages on Monday.
“On a normal day, we’ll ship out around 50,000 packages,” area manager Daniel Browne said. “The holidays, black Friday, and Cyber Monday, that can go as high as 90,000 packages. So, we’re talking almost double the volume of a normal day.”…
