Driver arrested in Orlando hit-and-run crash involving pedestrian, troopers say

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando man was arrested after leaving and then returning to the scene of a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened just before 8 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Dean Road and Flowers Avenue.

According to an arrest report, when troopers arrived on scene, the female victim was receiving CPR. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was airlifted to the hospital and remains in critical condition…
