A Fort Pierce man died Dec. 12 in a single-vehicle crash on State Road 60 east of Lake Wales.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched at about 12:55 p.m. to the crash scene on SR 60 near Tiger Lake Road, according to a news release. Investigators determined that Connor Houston Strickland, 21, lost control of the 2007 Toyota Camry he was driving westbound on SR 60.
The vehicle rolled and came to a rest in a ditch on the south side of SR 60, PCSO said. Strickland and a passenger, Alexandria Janae McConnell of Auburndale, were both ejected from the vehicle. Neither wore a seat belt, PCSO said…
