Kissimmee Expands Business Boost Grants to Support Local Small Businesses

The City of Kissimmee is renewing its support for local entrepreneurs with the latest round of the Business Boost 2.0 relief grants, a program designed to help small businesses still navigating the economic aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funded through the American Rescue Plan, the initiative has already awarded more than $255,000 to local businesses, with additional grants approved and pending distribution. Awards range from $5,000 to $20,000 based on business size and are intended to help cover operating expenses, retain employees, and sustain essential services that contribute to Kissimmee’s local economy. With nearly 200 applications submitted, the response highlights both the program’s impact and the continued need for targeted assistance.
