A Michigan woman was arrested for theft after trying to leave Walmart with $102 in unpaid items.
A deputy responded to retail theft involving 21-year-old Rayna Croon at Walmart, located at 550 U.S. Hwy. 27, Clermont, around 11:45 a.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. A loss prevention employee advised that she had been stopped trying to leave the store without paying for 28 items worth $102.14.
Croon later stated this was her first time committing such an act. Surveillance footage showed she skip-scanned several things before attempting to leave the store, the report said…
