Tiffany Griffith, a Florida woman, has been arrested after allegedly holding a 6-year-old boy underwater in a hotel pool.

Florida Woman Allegedly Holds 6-Year-Old Boy Underwater In Hotel Pool

According to Fox 35 Orlando, the incident apparently occurred on Friday, December 19. Per WESH, specifically, the altercation unfolded at the Gaylord Palms resort in Kissimmee, Florida. The outlet adds that the Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene around 4:30 p.m. Furthermore, they reportedly were informed that three children were playing in a pool when “the splashing became aggressive.” One of the children was reportedly Tiffany Griffith’s 6-year-old son. Subsequently, she allegedly entered the pool and yelled at another 6-year-old boy. This, reportedly because “he dunked her 6-year-old son underwater.”

From there, Griffith allegedly “put her hands on the other child’s shoulders and forcibly dunked him underwater for several seconds.” Per the outlet, the child exited the pool “visibly upset.” Furthermore, he allegedly suffered a nosebleed and reported the incident to his parents.

At that point, Griffith allegedly yelled at the boy’s mother. Ultimately, she was arrested by deputies and taken to the Osceola County jail. Per WESH, she is reportedly being held without bond and has been charged with “one count of aggravated child abuse.”
