Chinese National In Florida Found Guilty Of Fueling Illegal Gun Ring Through ‘Parts’ Business

A federal jury in Orlando has convicted a 28-year-old St. Cloud man for his role in a firearms trafficking operation that moved weapons from gun show tables to the black market.

United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announced that Jincheng Shi was found guilty of aiding and abetting unlicensed firearms dealing and possession of a firearm by an alien admitted under a non-immigrant visa. He now faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in federal prison.

According to courtroom testimony, Shi entered the United States in 2022 on a non-immigrant work visa. This status placed him in a “prohibited class,” meaning he was not legally allowed to possess firearms.
