Two suspects are behind bars in Orange County following a violent setup that investigators say began in Instagram direct messages and ended with an ax-wielding ambush at an apartment complex.
Nicholas Lavallee, 20, and Anne Aksell, 29, were arrested last week on a slate of felony charges including robbery with a firearm, grand theft of a motor vehicle, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
