‘Armed and dangerous’: Polk sheriff searching for suspect who carjacked Uber driver

DUNDEE, Fla. (WFLA) — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man accused of carjacking an Uber driver over the weekend.

The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Jamarcus Fowler, ordered an Uber to pick him up from the Alibi Gentlemen’s Club in Tampa in the early hours of Saturday, Jan. 3.

Once the driver arrived, Fowler forced him to start driving to Dundee at gunpoint, PCSO said.
