An early Sunday morning dispute at a Checkers drive-thru in Winter Garden escalated to gunfire, according to authorities. WFTV reported that the altercation occurred around 3:20 a.m. involving a man in his 30s and an employee of the fast-food restaurant. After the verbal exchange, the man claimed that his vehicle was struck by bullets. No injuries have been reported from the incident.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting, which left a mark near the car’s charging port. The man, while speaking to FOX 35 Orlando, mentioned that the argument began when he asked the employee to confirm his order.
