Man says he was ‘chasing bunnies’ when asked about unwanted return to neighbor’s yard

A Clermont man was arrested for trespassing when a neighbor’s doorbell camera caught him in her yard near a window.

Deputies responded to 38-year-old Sean Matthew Still trespassing at a female neighbor’s home directly across from him on Palm Forest Lane in Minneola at 8:05 p.m. Jan. 1, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

The neighbor advised that Still had been on her property multiple times, including on the night of Dec. 31, 2025, and Dec. 22, 2025. She also referenced a prior incident on Nov. 10, 2025, which resulted in the no-trespass order, the report said.

She then handed over video footage from her doorbell and backyard cameras, which recorded Still in her backyard near her front window on the night of Dec. 31, 2025. It looked like he had been on the phone with someone while near her property. He had also been seen running from another neighbor’s residence after they called law enforcement, but when law enforcement tried to investigate, he did not answer the door, the report said…
