GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A man was arrested in Orlando, Florida, on Friday, Jan. 16, following a months-long investigation of a Graves County scam.
A Graves County couple received a letter on Nov. 21, 2025, that they won a $250 million Mega Millions jackpot.
According to a news release, when they called the number provided in the letter, the couple was reportedly told to deposit a total of $83,000 in cash into separate accounts. Once they deposited all the money, communication with the Mega Millions jackpot representatives ended.

Investigators with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security in Paducah analyzed banking records, withdrawals from the accounts, and video surveillance. They tracked one of the suspects, 38-year-old Deroney Facey, in Orlando, Florida…
