Orlando Congressman Maxwell Frost was punched in the face by a drunk attacker at the Sundance Festival, and the Democratic Party and several officials responded.
“I was assaulted by a man at Sundance Festival who told me that Trump was going to deport me before he punched me in the face,” Representative Maxwell Alejandro Frost, a Democrat, posted about the attack. “He was heard screaming racist remarks as he drunkenly ran off. The individual was arrested and I am okay.”
According to reports, the man who attacked the Central Florida Congressman was identified as Christian Young by the police. According to court records, 28-year-old Christian Joel Young was arrested for aggravated burglary, assaulting an elected official and assault and transported to jail.
