An Orlando woman was arrested after trespassing in a taken room at the Candlelight Motel.
An officer responded Monday, Jan. 26 to the Candlelight Motel, located at 1306 S 14th St., for a suspicious person later identified as 54-year-old Cynthia Louise McCann, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
The manager of the motel advised that she was in room #9. She had been trespassed from the motel before, and the person in the room did not invite her to be there. Before the manager unlocked the room for law enforcement, the person who rented the room confirmed it should be empty, the report said.
Dispatch later confirmed McCann had been trespassed from the motel on Jan. 16, 2025. When the officer spoke to her, she refused to talk about the incident, the report said…
