Early yesterday morning, Osceola County Firefighters confronted flames at an abandoned Kissimmee hotel near Interstate 4. WFTV reported that the fire department got a call around 5:30 a.m. and arrived to discover the building nearly half engulfed. The fire was significant enough for smoke and flames to be visible, which Channel 9 captured upon arrival.
According to statements by the Osceola County Fire Department, obtained by FOX 35 Orlando, the fire is suspected to have started in the commercial laundry facility of the derelict structure.
