5 injured after crash involving school bus on I-4 in Osceola County; no students injured

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. Five people were injured Wednesday after three vehicles, including a school bus, were involved in a crash on Interstate 4 in Osceola County.

The crash happened around 7: 39 a.m. on I-4 eastbound near mile marker 61 in Kissimmee, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

An Osceola County school bus with about 29 Island Village Elementary students on board was traveling in the outside lane. The bus driver, an 82-year-old man, failed to stop as traffic was slowing in the lane, and the bus hit the back of a Chevy Blazer in front of it, FHP said.
