A violent confrontation outside the Orange County Jail has resulted in multiple charges against 23-year-old Anthony Myles, as well as injuries to innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire. According to WESH, the incident occurred on Wednesday when Myles engaged in a shooting during an argument with his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. A 76-year-old woman was injured during the shooting spree.
The altercation escalated from harassment to physical violence when Myles attempted to run his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle off the road. He then chased her and her new boyfriend, culminating in Myles firing shots from his vehicle, with three bullets piercing through his windshield. One of those bullets wounded an elderly woman, who was later discharged from the hospital. Myles, now being held at the same facility where the incident took place, was denied bail by a judge, citing his danger to the public and an admission that he let “his feelings got the best of him,” as per the arrest affidavit, reported by WESH.
