Polk County Street Racing Near Davenport Leads To 2 Arrests, ICE Hold Placed On Driver

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Two men were taken into custody on Thursday following an alleged street race in the Loughman area. According to the investigators, the incident began around 7:13 p.m. near the intersection of Lake Wilson Road and Town Center Boulevard when a sergeant with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office observed a blue Yamaha sport bike performing a wheelie.

Deputies say the motorcyclist then positioned himself behind a black 2020 Chevy Camaro and began revving his engine. Both vehicles proceeded west onto Ronald Reagan Parkway, where they reportedly began racing.
