Orlando’s once beloved spirit-free speakeasy is making its return, this time in New Smyrna Beach with more than mocktails on its menu.
Bandbox Cafe & Taproom, formerly The Bandbox Orlando, is gearing up to make its local debut under owner Kevin Zepf at 216 Flagler Ave. this spring. Once a local pioneer in the sober-curious bar scene, the concept — an intimate, alcohol-free tasting lounge — shuttered two years ago in Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village due to ongoing road construction and area parking issues, only to return with renewed intention in Volusia County.
