Days after a New Smyrna Beach dairy farm asked a Seminole County judge to dismiss a lawsuit alleging raw milk caused the death of a fetus and hospitalization of a toddler last year, the plaintiff dropped the case.
Keely Farms Dairy − which was named as the source of raw milk that the Florida Department of Health said caused at least 21 people to get sick between January and August 2025 − requested Judge Susan Stacy either dismiss the case or issue an order of summary judgment in its favor.
