A nearly three-year investigation has finally led to an arrest in a deadly crash that shocked central Florida and raised renewed concerns about street racing on public roads.
Authorities say 32-year-old Marquise Worlds is now behind bars in Osceola County Jail, facing three counts of vehicular homicide after investigators linked him to a violent 2023 crash that killed three senior citizens.
The crash happened on March 4, 2023, along U.S. Route 192 near Four Winds Boulevard in Kissimmee, a busy stretch of roadway known locally as Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway.
