After having some truly stellar sourdough when I picked up an order from Pop-Up Provisions from Mamadough, I decided to dedicate a few weeks to trying as many local sourdough makers as I could get my hands on. In and around Orlando, we have much more than I bargained for, and a few I never was able to get to that are still on my list.
As someone who enjoys bread way too much, sourdough is much easier on my stomach, and I’m making a concentrated effort to only eat sourdough if I’m going to eat bread, and thankfully the city’s bakers are making that mission easy to complete.
I first found Mamadough through using Pop-Up Provisions. That’s what kinda started this whole sourdough search. Their bread was so good, I knew I needed to get it again and see what else was out there. Thankfully, they have a regular pop-up on Monday night at the Audubon Community Market. There you can grab a loaf or bagels, among other items, including cinnamon rolls that aren’t overly sweet! From what I’ve seen online, you can also grab the bagels at Dr. Drip in Ivanhoe Village…
