DAVENPORT, Fla. — A 77-year-old man was reportedly killed Friday night after getting hit by an SUV while crossing an Interstate 4 on-ramp in Davenport.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Antonio Sanchez Jr., 77, of Babson Park, was trying to run across the on-ramp from U.S. 27 around 8 p.m. It’s the on-ramp that takes drivers onto the eastbound lanes of I-4.
