A Central Florida hit-and-run crash suspect was in the United States illegally. The suspect who is in the country illegally from Venezuela was recently arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office after rear ending another vehicle in Davenport and fleeing the county.
According to local law enforcement, Jose Valero-Colina was charged with leaving the scene of a crash. Under Florida law, this charge has been upgraded one level due to his illegal status.
