ORLANDO, Fla. The Orange County School Board has unanimously approved a plan put forth by Orange County Public Schools to close seven of its elementary schools due to declining enrollment.

The schools that face closure include Bonneville Elementary, Chickasaw Elementary, Eccleston Elementary, McCoy Elementary, Meadow Woods Elementary, Orlo Vista Elementary, and Union Park Middle.

Students at those schools will be transferred to other locations beginning in the 2026-27 school year.
