A trip to the gas station changed a Kissimmee man’s life. The Florida Lottery confirmed Tuesday that 59-year-old Rafael Arciniegas Rosario claimed a $1 million prize after playing the GOLD RUSH LEGACY scratch-off game.

Arciniegas Rosario traveled to the lottery headquarters in Tallahassee on December 10 to process his claim. Rather than taking the full amount in installments, he opted for a single, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.

The winning ticket was a $20 investment made at the RaceTrac located at 6803 Conway Road in Orlando. By choosing that specific ticket, Arciniegas Rosario hit one of the 20 available $1 million prizes offered in the game…
