A short-term vacation rental in Kissimmee turned into a crime scene early Saturday morning when 17-year-old Qvarious Savion McCloud was shot and killed during a crowded house party, authorities said.
Osceola County deputies were called to the rental home in the Veranda Palms subdivision off Shanti Drive around 1:26 a.m. When they arrived, they found McCloud lying near the pool with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Osceola Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to WESH.
As of now, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has not announced any arrests. Investigators say the case is still very much active.

Detectives are pressing anyone who was at the party to speak up, especially those who may have recorded video or taken photos in the early hours of Saturday. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is collecting leads, and anonymous tips can be shared through Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
