Staybridge secretary allegedly smacks boyfriend over cheating allegations

A Kissimmee woman was arrested for battery after allegedly smacking her boyfriend over cheating allegations.

The boyfriend of 20-year-old Jasmine Marie Ruth Perry was driving a blue Kia Sportage to Staybridge Suites, located at 3440 U.S. Hwy. 27, around 9:40 a.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Clermont Police Department. He intended to drop off her and their one-year-old daughter at the hotel so Perry could do her job as a secretary.

However, the boyfriend was now talking to the police across the street at RaceTrack, 3201 S Hwy. 27, because the couple got into an argument after Perry accused him of cheating. She believed he was texting another woman and got jealous. He saw that she was getting upset, so due to a previous history of violence, he parked the car and walked away, the report said.

The boyfriend advised that Perry only grabbed his wrist in a slight, non-aggressive manner, and she did not hit him. But law enforcement noticed a very slight mark on his left cheek that looked like a scratch. Even when Perry admitted to smacking him, he maintained that she only grabbed his wrist, the report said…
