South Semoran Shuts Down as Mystery Double Crime Scene Unfolds

Two crime scenes just minutes apart turned a stretch of South Semoran Boulevard into a late-night mystery yesterday, as Orlando police shut down an apartment complex and part of the busy roadway. Neighbors at one location watched as someone was placed into an ambulance while a vehicle sat behind crime tape. By the end of the night, authorities still had not said who was hurt, how badly, or whether the two scenes were connected.

What Happened on the Ground

According to WESH, police cruisers and a crime-scene van crowded into the Royal Isles apartment complex, while about four minutes down South Semoran, one side of the road was blocked from Sanibel Street to La Costa Drive. Reporters spotted a red car behind crime-scene tape that was later towed away, with what appeared to be red evidence markers on the vehicle. Shoes and clothing were seen scattered on the ground nearby.
