ORLANDO, Fla. (WCJB) – A lawsuit filed against the owners of an Orlando news station by the estate of former TV20 reporter Dylan Lyons is being dismissed.
Lyons was shot and killed while reporting for Spectrum News 13 in February 2023. He was reporting on a murder case in Pine Hills, west of Orlando, when the shooter, Keith Moses, returned to the scene, killed Lyons, and injured photographer Jesse Walden.
Lyon’s family filed suit against Spectrum’s parent company, Charter Communications, claiming they were negligent in sending Lyons to report on the murder…
