Orlando woman found guilty of passport fraud and identity theft

ORLANDO, Florida — A federal jury has convicted 49-year-old Lesbia Cristina Grullon Nolasco, of Orlando, on charges including passport fraud and aggravated identity theft.

Grullon Nolasco faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison for passport fraud and theft of government property, up to 5 years for making a false statement to a federal agency, and a mandatory minimum of 2 years’ imprisonment, consecutive to any other prison term for aggravated identity theft, according to U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe. Her sentencing is set for July 21, 2026.

The indictment, issued on December 17, 2025, revealed that Grullon Nolasco, a citizen of the Dominican Republic, lived in the United States for over 30 years under a stolen identity of a Puerto Rican woman.
