ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — Authorities have dismantled a criminal empire posing as a legitimate immigration agency, leading to the arrest of key figures who allegedly exploited desperate undocumented Brazilian nationals, raking in over $20 million in a web of deceit and manipulation.
“Legacy has amassed more than 20 million in ill-gotten proceeds while victimizing hundreds of people,” Sheriff John Mina said.
