Orange County residents can now place paper and clear plastic to go cups in their blue lid recycling carts, marking a new expansion of the County’s curbside recycling program.
The change was officially announced by Orange County on National Beverage Day, May 6. The update applies to clean, empty paper and clear plastic cups used for fountain sodas and hot, frozen, or iced coffee beverages. Paper sleeves are also accepted.
