A Central Florida man was arrested for hiding a juvenile runaway. Detectives from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Polk County Sheriff’s Office with information regarding a runaway girl who was believed to be with a man in Dundee in Central Florida.
The missing teenage girl from Orange County was found safe, and the adult male sex offender who was hiding her was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
PCSO detectives went to the residence of 30-year-old Alexis Diaz-Toledo on Shepard Avenue in Dundee to look for the missing 17-year-old. Diaz-Toledo denied any knowledge of the girl’s whereabouts and said that he had not seen her for a couple of days; he initially refused to let detectives search his home…
