KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The sun is setting on the University of Tennessee’s Nike deal after more than a decade. With just weeks left before Adidas takes over as the school’s official apparel provider, let’s take a look back on the some of the biggest sports moments of the Nike era.
The new 10-year Adidas deal will officially begin on July 1, 2026 after 12 years of the iconic Nike Swoosh on Tennessee jerseys. The Volunteers previously wore Adidas gear from 1995 to 2004.
