KNOXVILLE, Tenn — From in-person counseling to emergency assistance over the phone, Knoxville domestic violence advocates are encouraging people in crisis to reach out for help as the summer months begin.
Marissa Fox, a victim advocate with the Knoxville Police Department, said domestic violence cases often increase during the summer and around holidays.
