KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The arraignments for 11 current and former Knox County Sheriff’s Office employees who were indicted after an investigation centered around theft involving members of the agency’s Narcotics Unit and Special Investigations Unit are scheduled for July.
The people indicted on state charges are listed below:
- Aaron Yarnell – Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Theft of Property over $250,000, Theft of Property over $250,000, and Theft of Services over $60,000. Bond: $100,000
- Curtis Nathan Cole – Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Theft of Property over $250,000, Theft of Property over $250,000, and Theft of Services over $60,000. Bond: $100,000
- Lake Lowry – Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Theft of Property over $250,000, Theft of Property over $250,000, and Theft of Services over $60,000. Bond: $100,000

The District Attorneys General Conference in Nashville said the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation began working with the FBI last year to review evidence gathered during a federal investigation that was launched in 2019.
