KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) operator is being credited with helping a stranded driver deliver a baby on the side of the interstate.
Chester Hembree, a highway response operator for TDOT, responded to a childbirth call on I-40 eastbound in Knox County on June 5.
